If you enjoy the view over Stockholm from the 150m high TV-tower "Kaknäs", you will see why they call Stockholm; Sweden's answer to Venice. Glittering water-streets spread out between the red old houses and the newer white, glass buildings. You can also see the numerous islands off the coast of Stockholm, nobody knows how many there are, but it is somewhere between 24000 and 30000. 
In Stockholm you can visit the Kings castle. Next to the Buckingham Palace this is the largest castle in Europe, and in its vaults you can have a glance at the Swedish crown jewels or in one the great halls see the stuffed horse of the Swedish king Gustav II. Adolf.
